Hello, I’m Alva Ho 🍷

My journey with wine spans over 13 years of passionate drinking and exploration, with a focus on the terroirs of Burgundy and Champagne. Professionally, have over a decade of experience navigating the upper echelons of the Asian wine industry in fine wine retail, distribution, and international auction houses.

 

Rare Bottle Blitz was created out of my genuine passion of wine.

Iit is an independent, personal space where I share the bottles I truly love, alongside real-time market trends for collectors and enthusiasts across Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore, and Asia.

To bring that vision to life, I have evolved the blog to focus on two distinct editorial pillars:

• Domaine Spotlight: Deep-dive profiles that look past the superficial tasting notes to focus on the "why"—the human narratives and terroir, and the "Strategic Buying" value of the world’s most compelling producers.

• Vintage Cuvée Report: A transparent, running archive of my personal encounters with wine. These are raw, short notes on the exact bottles I have opened and tasted, complete with the date of drinking.
