Champagne Gaspard Brochet is an emerging star in the Montagne de Reims, rooted in a rich family legacy that blends tradition with innovation.
Founded by Gaspard Brochet, who took over a portion of his father’s Vincent Brochet estate in 2017, this domaine spans 3.2 hectares across the villages of Ecueil, Villers-aux-Noeuds, and Sacy.
With a background in graphic design before returning to winemaking in 2013, Gaspard brings a creative flair to his craft, influenced by his uncle, the renowned Emmanuel Brochet. The vineyards, some planted in the 1950s and 60s, are now farmed biodynamically, emphasizing natural methods like plowing and homemade fungal fertilizers, reflecting a hands-off approach to preserve terroir expression.
Gaspard’s winemaking is distinctive, often using new oak barrels and minimal intervention—no racking, topping, or filtering—resulting in complex, textural Champagnes. His first release in 2020 marked a bold entry. These champagne known for their depth, precision, and unique character, are produced in small quantities, making them a rare find.
