With annual production hovering around 400 bottles, vintage 2022 as its first vintage for the Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru made by Domaine Jean-Yves Bizot.
0.17-hectare parcel perched high on the Corton hill, planted with 60-year-old vines on pure limestone marl. Harvested by hand at a daringly low 35 hl/ha, the fruit was whole-cluster pressed and fermented with indigenous yeasts in old Stockinger barrels.
Élevage lasted 18 months with zero batonnage and minimal sulfur – Bizot’s signature quest for absolute purity.
